Adjust your desk height and/or chair position to proper ergonomics, so that: when standing or sitting, the ears, shoulders, and hips are in alignment. Elbows should fall comfortably at your side, not clenched inward or pointed outward. If your feet cannot rest evenly on the floor, request/purchase a foot rest.
  • Incorporate walking into the work day: Take small walks throughout the day, which will help you de-stress, while increasing circulation. If you cannot alternate sitting and standing at your desk, work in more walking during the day.
